A plain summary of how we handle your data. It is a draft and a lawyer has not reviewed it yet.
What we collect
Your email address, the names, ages and short descriptions you enter, the photos you upload, the dedication you write and, if you order a printed book, your delivery address and phone number.
What we do with your photos
Photos are used only to create your book. They are never used to train AI models. They are deleted 72 hours after you approve your characters, and in any case no later than 14 days after upload, or earlier when you delete them in the privacy centre.
Pictures and files
The portraits, pages and files made for your book are deleted 14 days after your last activity if you do not order, and 90 days after payment if you do. If you choose to keep your portraits to order another book later, we keep them for 12 months. The privacy centre shows the exact dates for your book.
Delete your data
You can delete your photos, or everything for a book, at any time in the privacy centre.
Who else handles your data
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Printing and shipping are handled by Lulu, which receives your delivery address and the print files. Pictures are made with AI image services that receive your photos only to create your book.
Photos deleted within 14 days at most, never used to train AI.
